It is with great pleasure that we welcome Charlotty to the Sono Music team in 2023. Charlotty began her teaching journey in 2018 and now works from our Kedron-Wavell studio helping clients with piano and voice.
Regarding her qualifications, Charlotty has successfully completed YAMAHA’s piano grades. Additionally, Charlotty is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Queensland, specialising in Drama and Music.
Charlotty’s upbringing revolved around classical music, and she holds great admiration for the works of Mozart. She is an ardent admirer of the group TOMORROW X TOGETHER, whose artistry continues to inspire both her musical passion and teaching.
In her role at Sono Music, the most fulfilling aspect for Charlotty is the opportunity to share her musical knowledge and skills with others while simultaneously enriching her own understanding. Witnessing the success of her clients, whether it involves winning competitions or mastering fundamental skills, brings her profound satisfaction.
Charlotty’s personal mission statement as a music coach revolves around encouraging individuals to recognise the musician within themselves. Often, people may feel it’s “too late” to pursue music or become disheartened by the achievements of child prodigies. Charlotty strives to help her clients view music not as a competition but as a welcoming sanctuary. She considers her mission fulfilled when those she teaches exhibit confidence in their musical abilities, regardless of whether they are children preparing for an AMEB exam or adults enjoying the music as a leisurely pursuit.
