Amy is a passionate and approachable voice coach who loves helping students grow in confidence and discover their unique sound. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Music from Queensland University of Technology, graduating with Distinction, along with a Certificate III in Music Industries and AMEB Rockschool Grade 8 in voice.
She teaches contemporary, musical theatre, popular, and jazz styles, and also enjoys supporting students with songwriting, composition, and performance development. Amy creates a welcoming and encouraging environment where students of all ages and experience levels can feel comfortable exploring music, building technique, and expressing themselves creatively.
As an active indie rock performer, Amy brings a modern and relatable perspective to lessons, helping students connect their musical interests with practical skills and artistic confidence. Inspired by artists such as Alanis Morissette and Paramore, she values authenticity, creativity, and emotional connection in music.
Amy believes learning music should feel enjoyable, motivating, and accessible. Her goal is to help students feel supported throughout their musical journey while developing confidence, strong foundational skills, and a genuine love for performing and creating music.
Having experienced firsthand the positive impact music teachers can have on a student’s growth, Amy is passionate about creating the same supportive and inspiring experience for others.
