Jasmine B
Jasmine is a passionate and well-rounded voice teacher with eight years of private vocal training under accomplished teachers from the Queensland Conservatorium. With a strong foundation in vocal pedagogy, she brings a rich blend of classical, jazz, and contemporary techniques to her teaching, backed by her deep curiosity about the science of singing and an intuitive understanding of vocal mechanics.
Her musical journey includes singing in two choirs at the Young Conservatorium, participating in the State Honours Ensemble Program (SHEP), and completing the IB High Level Music Program, where she explored genres from flamenco to gospel and honed skills in theory, rhythm, and composition. As a multi-instrumentalist, Jasmine has experience in piano, violin, saxophone, and guitar, and draws on these skills to provide a strong musical foundation.
Performance has always been central to her life. Jasmine has sung lead at events ranging from high-energy festivals to intimate acoustic sets, and has also worked in professional studios as a solo and backup vocalist. Her experience spans songwriting, mixing with Logic Pro, and supporting students through auditions, gigs, and recording sessions.
She has also completed targeted training in child and youth support, including trauma-informed care, child development, and effective communication strategies. This equips her to create a safe, inclusive, and emotionally aware learning environment for all students.
Jasmine’s approach is student-centred and adaptable. She draws from a wide bank of exercises to match each student’s needs, listens closely for vocal patterns, and focuses on building confidence, vocal health, and authentic self-expression through music. Whether you’re learning your first song or preparing for the studio, Jasmine is committed to helping you grow with clarity, creativity, and care.
