Oliver N is a dedicated piano coach with over four years of teaching experience, specialising in both contemporary and jazz piano at an expert level. He offers students a strong foundation in technique, style, and musicality, while creating a space that encourages creativity and self-expression. 

Currently studying a Bachelor of Music (expected completion in 2026), Oliver has completed AMEB Piano Comprehensive exams up to Grade 8. He is confident teaching a wide range of styles including classical, jazz/blues, pop, rock, musical theatre, and modern piano. His approach is grounded in helping students build practical skills while nurturing their individual musical voice. 

Oliver brings particular strength in jazz improvisation and contemporary performance, as well as a solid understanding of classical repertoire. He also incorporates sight reading, ear training, and composition into his lessons to support well-rounded musical development. 

As a regular performer, Oliver draws inspiration from artists such as Bruce Hornsby, Christian Sands, Keith Jarrett, and McCoy Tyner. His teaching is driven by a passion for helping students discover their own love for music, encouraging exploration through playing, listening, and learning. 

With a calm and supportive teaching style, Oliver aims to equip students with the tools to express themselves confidently through piano, while making their musical journey enjoyable and rewarding.
