Serviana
With over 16 years of teaching experience, Serviana is a deeply knowledgeable and passionate piano coach who brings both academic excellence and heartfelt dedication to her students’ musical journeys. Holding a Bachelor of Music Education and a Master of Music Performance, she blends strong pedagogical training with a performer’s sensitivity. She also holds an ABRSM Grade 8 in piano and continually broadens her expertise through ongoing professional development.
Serviana confidently teaches classical and contemporary/modern piano to students from novice through to upper intermediate levels. Her approach also integrates foundational musicianship skills such as sight reading and ear training. In addition to piano, she brings experience in vocal performance as an active member of a choir, as well as interests in the Native American flute and crystal singing bowls, offering a holistic and culturally rich perspective to her teaching.
Influenced by classical greats such as Bach, Chopin, Rachmaninov, Liszt, Debussy, and Scriabin, Serviana has performed solo recitals as part of her academic qualifications, shaping her deep appreciation for expressive and technically refined music.
Driven by the belief that music is a universal language capable of uniting people across backgrounds, Serviana’s mission is to inspire and nurture a lifelong love of music, whether her students pursue it for academic excellence, personal growth, or pure enjoyment. For her, teaching is more than a profession; it is a way to share joy, meaning, and connection through music.
